How To Troubleshoot a letter that is not working
If your whole letter is not working, try reseating the wire in the male plug.
Hold plug with wire exiting to the right. Slide back open – this may take some effort. Lift out the wire.
Check for bent or broke spikes inside. If spikes are bent, you may attempt to straighten them. If they are brok, contact us for a replacement.

Please note: if you are using color changing LED lights, please notice the writing on one side of the wire and replace the wire in the same way it was removed (or change if needed). Polarity matters on the color changing bulbs. The side of the wire with the writing should go to the narrower prong (the first spike inside of the plug if the wire is exiting the plug to the right as in the photos below).
Check for bent or broke spikes inside. If spikes are bent, you may attempt to straighten them. If they are brok, contact us for a replacement.
If both spikes are in place, re-seat the wire (trim if damaged). See photos below. Press the wire onto the spikes, so that they pierce the wire.

Slide the back cover securely back into place. This may require the use of pliers to close all the way. When unplugging your letters: please grip the male plug, instead of the wire, and use gentle pressure when removing the plugs from a socket to avoid damage. If a single socket is not working, contact us for a replacement wiring harness.

All of our marquee products are tested before leaving our facility. Even so, sometimes, during shipping, they may lose some bulbs. Replacements are available either through us or Amazon.
CAUTION: DO NOT EVER plug letters with Color Changing Bulbs directly into a socket. The bulbs and sockets will be damaged. Color changing bulbs (the provided multi-plug cord) must be routed through a supplied control box before being plugged in to a wall socket.
Use a provided remote to control them. We keep control boxes and remotes in stock for purchase if you need more.
Note: Warranty does not cover damage caused by this issue, however, we can make and send out new wiring harnesses if they are damaged in this fashion.
Occasionally, if not handled with care the male plugs on a letter or on the multi-plug cord may lose connection with the wiring. Please see the following image for troubleshooting this issue.
